HISTORY
JSW Steel was established in 1982 as Jindal Iron and Steel Company (JISCO).
In 2005, JISCO and JVSL merged to form JSW Steel Limited.
With more than 40,000 employees, JSW Steel Limited is considered one of India’s largest conglomerates. According to Forbes, it is considered one of the Largest Public Companies in the World.
