   PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, known as Telkom Indonesia, is a multinational telecommunications conglomerate headquartered in Bandung, Indonesia.

   Telkom’s roots date back to 1961 when the Indonesian government established the state postal and telecommunications company, Perusahaan Negara Pos and Telekomunikasi (PN Postel).

   On July 6, 1965, the Indonesian government divided PN Postel’s postal and telecommunications industries into PN Pos Giro for postal services and PN Telekomunikasi for telecommunications services.

   July 6, 1965, the date of establishment of PN Telekomunikasi, was declared as the founding date of Telkom.

   Telkom’s shares are traded both on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and on the New York Stock Exchange. The majority shareholder of the company is the Government of Indonesia.


   Telkom operates through the following Digital Bussiness Domain: Digital Connectivity, Digital Platform, and Digital Services.
