HISTORY


   YTL Corporation Berhad was founded in 1955 by Yeoh Tiong Lay, after whom the company is named.

   In 1985, YTL was listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange).

   In 1996, YTL was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, being the first non-Japanese Asian company to list on the Tokyo exchange.
