Cheniere Energy, Inc. is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) company, headquartered in Houston, Texas, United States. It is a full-service LNG provider and operates through its facilities, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG and Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG facility.
Cheniere was established in 1996 to be an oil-and-gas exploration business. As time went by, the company shifted from E&P to regas, and construction began at the Sabine Pass LNG facility.
With more than 1,500 employees, Cheniere Energy, Inc. is considered one of the largest producers of LNG in the United States, and one of the largest operators in the world. According to Forbes, it is considered one of the Largest Public Companies in the World.
