    HISTORY


       Bard was founded in 1907 by Charles R. Bard in New York City.

       In 1923, the company was incorporated.

       In 1926, the company was sold to John F. Willits and Edson L. Outwin.

       In 1968, Bard was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

       In 2012, Bard acquired Lutonix.

       In 2017, Bard was acquired by Becton Dickinson.


       With more than1 4.000 employees, C. R. Bard, Inc. was considered one of the Largest Public Companies in the World, according to Forbes.
