       MOL Plc. (Magyar OLaj- és Gázipari Részvénytársaság - ’Hungarian Oil and Gas Public Limited Company’), known as MOL Group, is an international oil and gas company headquartered in Budapest, Hungary.

    HISTORY


       MOL Plc. was founded in 1991.

       In 1997, the MOL Group’s retail network in Romania was increased by buying Amoco Oil Holding Company

       In 2004, the company was listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange. It also acquired the Shell Romania retail network and Roth Heizöle Trading company in Austria.

    OPERATIONS


       MOL operates through two business sectors: Exploration & Production, and Downstream.

    Products for consumers:

    • Evo fuels;
    • Freshcorner gastro concept;
    • E-charging solutions;
    • Loyalty cards;
    • Lubricants and autochemicals;
    • Mol limo carsharing;
    • Service stations.

    Products for business partners:

    • Wholesale fuels: gasoline, diesel, heating oil, bunker diesel;
    • Aviation;
    • Lpg;
    • Petrochemicals: polyol;

    Black products:

    • Bitumen;
    • Sulphur;
    • Petroleum coke;
    • Fuel oil.

    Base oils and waxes:

    • Base oils;
    • Waxes;
    • Finished lubricants.

       With more than 25,000 employees and operations in over 30 countries, MOL Plc. is considered one of the Largest Public Companies in the World, according to Forbes.
