     Seagate Technology Plc designs, manufactures and markets data storage products. The company produce a range of electronic data storage products including Hard disk drives, solid state hybrid drives and solid state drives, which address enterprise applications, where their products are designed for enterprise servers, mainframes and workstations; client compute applications, where their products are designed for desktop and notebook computers; and client non-compute applications, where their products are designed for a variety of end user devices such as digital video recorders, gaming consoles, personal data backup systems, portable external storage systems and digital media systems. In addition to manufacturing and selling data storage products, the company provides data storage services for small to medium-sized businesses, including online backup, data protection and recovery solutions. Seagate Technology was founded by Finis Conner, David Thomas Mitchell, Alan F. Shugart, Syed Iftikar, and Doug Mahon and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
