    Transneft PJSC history, profile and corporate video

       Transneft PJSC (Oil Transporting Joint-Stock Company Transneft before July 21, 2016) is a state-controlled natural monopoly transporting oil and petroleum products via trunk pipelines in Russia. It is headquartered in Moscow, Russia.

       The company was established by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 810 dated August 14, 1993, in pursuance of Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 1403 dated November 17, 1992. It was registered by the Moscow Registration Chamber on August 26, 1993.


       The main activities of the company include the provision of services for oil and oil products transportation via the trunk pipelines system within Russia and abroad, maintenance and repair operations on trunk pipelines, implementation of new equipment, technologies and materials, ensuring a safe work environment, and other activities related to coordination, cooperation and fundraising.

       With more than 100 000 employees, Transneft PJSC is considered one of the world’s largest oil pipeline companies. According to Forbes, it is considered one of the top 2000 largest public companies in the world and one of the Top Regarded Companies.
