HISTORY


   World Wide Technology was founded in 1990 by David Steward and Jim Kavanaugh.

   In 1994, WWT entered into a partnership with Cisco Systems. It also established partnerships with Dell, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Intel, Microsoft, NetApp, and VMware.

   In 1999, WWT spun out its telecommunications division to create Telcobuy.com, LLC.

   In 2003, Telcobuy was merged back into WWT.

   In 2004, WWT acquired Scientific and Engineering Workstation Procurement III (SEWP) Contract from ECS Technologies, Inc.

   In 2009, WWT acquired Server Centric Consulting.

   In 2010, WWT acquired Performance Technology Group.

   In 2015, WWT acquired the software company Asynchrony.
