     Ernest and Julio Gallo started E&J Gallo Winery in 1933. Julio, who died in 1993, was in charge of making the wine, and Ernest, who died in 2007, was responsible for selling the wine. Gallo wines include Turning Leaf, Twin Valley, Single Vineyard, Red Bicyclette and Ecco Domani. Joseph Gallo, Ernest’s son, is chief executive, while a number of other family members work for the company.”
