It operates through the following segments: Fresenius Medical Care, Fresenius Kabi, Fresenius Helios, and Fresenius Vamed. The Fresenius Medical Care segment provides products and services for individuals undergoing dialysis due to chronic kidney failure. The Fresenius Kabi segment offers infusion therapies, intravenously administered generic drugs, and clinical nutrition for ill patients in hospitals and outpatient environments. The Fresenius Helios segment operates hospitals. The Fresenius Vamed segment deals with engineering and services for hospitals and other health care facilities.
