GF Securities, formerly the Securities Department of Guangdong Development Bank founded in 1991, was officially established in 1993 and restructured into “GF Securities Limited Company” in 1996.
In 2001, “GF Securities Limited Company” as a whole was reorganized into a joint-stock company.
In 2010, GF Securities was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
In 2015, GF Securities was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
GF Securities controls GF Futures Co., Limited., GF Holdings (Hong Kong) Co., Limited., and GF Xinde Investment Management Co., Limited, as well as holding stakes in GF Fund Management Co., Limited., and E Fund Management Co., Limited.
