       Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd. (GTJA) is an investment banks and securities company headquartered in Shanghai, China. It was established on August 18, 1999, after the merger of former Guotai Securities Co. Ltd. (founded on September 10, 1992) and Junan Securities Co. Ltd. (founded on August 25, 1992).


       The company operates through the following segments: Institutional Finance, Personal Finance, Investment Management, and International Business

    Institutional Finance

       The Institutional Finance segment consists of equity and debt issuance and underwriting, corporate restructuring and restructuring, strategic investment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance structure and strategic development consulting, Asset securitization, equity incentive plan design, listed company market value management, and other comprehensive investment banking services.

    Personal Finance

       The Personal Finance segment covers securities and futures brokerage, margin trading, wealth management, financial planning, and other businesses.

    Investment Management

       The Investment Management segment consists of asset management, private equity investments, fund management, and direct investments.

    International Business

       The International Business segment consists of overseas listing and financing, overseas investment, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions of local companies. It provides brokerage, corporate finance, asset management, loans and financing, as well as financial products, market making and investments businesses mainly through Guotai Junan International.


       Guotai Junan has 5 subsidiaries:

    • Guotai Junan International Holdings Ltd. (registered in Hong Kong)
    • Guotai Junan Futures Co., Ltd.
    • Shanghai Guotai Junan Securities Asset Management Co., Ltd.
    • GTJA Innovation Investment Co., Ltd.
    • Guotai Junan Allianz Fund Management Co., Ltd.

       With more than 15,000 employees, Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd. (GTJA) is considered one of China’s largest investment banks and securities companies. According to Forbes, it is considered one of the Top 2000 Largest Public Companies in the World.
