       Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. is an American beverage company headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, United States. It was formerly known as Keurig Green Mountain (2014–2018) and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (1981–2014).

    HISTORY


       Keurig Dr Pepper was formed in 2018 through the merger of Keurig Green Mountain and Dr Pepper Snapple Group.

    Keurig Green Mountain

       Keurig Green Mountain was originally founded by Bob Stiller in 1981 as a small café Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in Waitsfield, Vermont.

       In 2006, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) acquired the brewing machine manufacturer Keurig, Inc.

       In March 2014, the company changed its name to Keurig Green Mountain.

    Dr Pepper Snapple Group

       Dr Pepper Snapple (also called Dr. Pepper/7up Inc.) is an American multinational soft drink company based in Texas, and as of July 2018, it is a business unit of Keurig Dr Pepper, Inc.

       It was formerly known as Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages, part of Cadbury Schweppes, until May 2008 when it was spun off from Cadbury Schweppes as Dr Pepper Snapple Group. The remainder of Cadbury Schweppes become Cadbury, a multinational confectionery company.


       In 2018, Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

       In 2020, its stock switched to NASDAQ Stock Market.
