HISTORY
Landsec’s origins go back to 1944 when its founder Harold Samuel acquired Land Securities Investment Trust Limited.
From 1947, the company concentrated on commercial property.
In 1982, Land Securities Investment Trust Limited changed its name to Land Securities plc.
In 2017, Land Securities was rebranded as Landsec, but the registered company name remained Land Securities Group PLC.
