    HISTORY


       Mondi was founded in 1967 in South Africa by its former owner, Anglo American plc.

       In 2007, Mondi Group was demerged from its parent company Anglo American plc and listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (Mondi Limited) and on the London Stock Exchange (Mondi plc).

       In 2011, Mondi Packaging South Africa was demerged.
