(PHI) is a holding company that, through regulated public utility subsidiaries, is engaged in the transmission, distribution and default supply of electricity and the distribution and supply of natural gas: Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco), Delmarva Power & Light Company (DPL) and Atlantic City Electric Company (ACE). As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated in three segments: Power Delivery, consisting of the operations of Pepco, DPL and ACE, engaged primarily in the transmission, distribution and default supply of electricity and the distribution and supply of natural gas; Pepco Energy Services and Other Non-Regulated, consisting of the operations of PCI. Through Pepco Energy Services, Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively Pepco Energy Services), PHI also provides energy and renewable energy services to Government and institutional customers.”

    Pepco Holdings, Inc. is one of the largest energy delivery companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving about 2 million customers in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland and New Jersey.
    PHI subsidiaries Pepco, Delmarva Power and Atlantic City Electric provide regulated electricity service; Delmarva Power also provides natural gas service. PHI also provides energy efficiency and renewable energy services through Pepco Energy Services.
