TTI HISTORY
Techtronic Industries (TTI) was founded in 1985 by Mr. Horst Julius Pudwill and Prof Roy Chi Ping Chung GBS BBS JP.
In 1990, TTI was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
In 1999, the VAX brand and Floorcare business were acquired.
In 2000, the RYOBI brand license and businesses for Power Tool and Outdoor Power Equipment were acquired.
In 2002, the HOMELITE brand and business for Outdoor Power Equipment were acquired.
In 2003, the ROYAL and DIRT DEVIL Floorcare brands and businesses were acquired.
In 2005, TTI acquired MILWAUKEE, AEG brand license and DreBo brands and businesses for Power Tool and Accessories.
In 2007, TTI acquired the HOOVER brand and Floorcare business. The company also acquired the STILETTO Hand Tool brand and business.
In 2013, the ORECK brand and Floorcare business were acquired.
In 2014, the EMPIRE Level, Layout and Measuring Tools brand and business were acquired.
In 2018, the Imperial Blades was acquired.
