       Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. (İşbank) is a commercial bank headquartered in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey. It was the first bank founded by the Turkish Republic on August 26, 1924.

       The company operates through the following segments: Personal Banking and Commercial

    Personal Banking

       The Personal Banking segment involves loans, cards, deposits and investments, digital banking, insurance & pension funds, payments, and private banking.

    Commercial Banking

       The Personal Banking segment consists of loans, cards, digital banking, foreign trade, multinational banking, cash management, and deposits and investments.


       The bank operates more than 1,350 branches domestically, giving it one of the largest branch networks in Turkey.

       İşbank’s international network comprises 16 branches in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, two branches in each of Iraq, Kosovo and the United Kingdom, and one branch each in Bahrain, Cairo and Shanghai.

       İşbank’s German banking subsidiary (İşbank GmbH) has 13 branches in Germany and one branch each in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Bulgaria.

       İşbank’s Russian banking subsidiary (JSC İşbank) has 11 branches in Russia.

       İşbank’s Georgian banking subsidiary (JSC İşbank Georgia) has branches in Tbilisi and Batumi.


       With more than 24,000 employees, Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. (İşbank) is considered one of the largest private banks in the country by the size of assets and equity, as well as by the number of branches and employees. According to Forbes, it is considered one of the Top 2000 Largest Public Companies in the World.
