       B/E Aerospace, Inc. was a manufacturer of aircraft interior products and solutions for the commercial, business jet, and military markets. It was headquartered in Wellington, Florida, United States.

       Its offerings included aircraft cabin seating, lighting and engineering solutions, oxygen systems, food and beverage preparation and storage equipment, galley systems, water and waste systems, and advanced lavatory systems. It also provided customized cabin interior reconfiguration, program management, and certification services.

    HISTORY


       B/E Aerospace was founded in 1987.

       In 2001, the company acquired M&M Aerospace Hardware Inc., a distributor of aerospace fasteners.

       In 2008, B/E acquired Honeywell International‘s Consumables Solutions distribution business.

       In 2017, B/E Aerospace was acquired by Rockwell Collins, which was acquired by United Technologies Corporation (UTC) in 2018, and became Collins Aerospace.

       In 2020, United Technologies Corporation (UTC) merged with Raytheon Company to form Raytheon Technologies (RTX).


       With more than 10,000 employees, B/E Aerospace, Inc. was considered one of the world’s largest manufacturers of aircraft interior products and solutions for the commercial, business jet, and military markets, and one of the world’s largest distributors of aerospace fasteners and consumables.
