 Hutchison Port Holdings Trust (HPH Trust or Trust) is a container port business trust. HPH Trust’s investment mandate is principally to invest in, develop, operate and manage deep-water container ports in the Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macau, collectively known as the Pearl River Delta (PRD). The Trust has interests in deep-water container port assets located in Kwai Tsing, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, the People’s Republic of China. As of December 31, 2011, these terminals operated 30 container berths across 514 hectares of land, with a combined throughput of approximately 21.9 million twenty-foot equivalent unit. The Trust’s portfolio also includes ancillary services such as trucking, feedering, freight-forwarding, supply chain management, warehousing and distribution. Hutchison Port Holdings Management Pte. Limited is the Trustee-Manager of HPH Trust. On February 8, 2013, it acquired 100% interest in Gold Avenue Holdings Limited and Champion Rings Limited.”
