       Stellantis N.V. is a multinational automotive company headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It was established on January 16, 2021, through a 50/50 merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Groupe PSA.

       Fiat Chrysler Automobiles was an Italian-American multinational corporation resulting from the merger between Fiat S.p.A. and Chrysler Group LLC in October 2014.

    Groupe PSA (Peugeot S.A.)

       Groupe PSA, legally known as Peugeot S.A., was a French multinational manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles. It was founded on April 9, 1976, when Peugeot S.A. acquired Citroën and created the PSA Group (Peugeot Société Anonyme). The group was formerly known as PSA Peugeot Citroën from 1991 to 2016.

       According to a statement from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Groupe PSA, the word STELLANTIS is rooted in the Latin verb “stello” meaning “to brighten with stars”.


       The group offers a full spectrum of choice from luxury, premium and mainstream passenger vehicles to pickup trucks, SUVs and light commercial vehicles, as well as dedicated mobility, financial, and parts and service brands.

       The group’s portfolio includes more than 15 automotive brands: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroen, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Mopar, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, Vauxhall, Free 2 move, and Leasys.


       With more than 400 000 employees and a presence in more than 130 countries, Stellantis N.V. is considered one of the world’s largest automakers. According to Forbes, it is considered one of the top 2000 largest public companies in the world.
