    HISTORY


       Changhong’s history began in 1958 when Changhong Machinery Factory was established.

       In 1972, Changhong produced the first color TV in China.

       In 1994, Changhong was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

       In 1998, the company entered Southeast Asia’s largest market, Indonesia, which marked the beginning of its overseas market developments.

       In 2002, the company established its overseas manufacturing and sales base in Guangdong province.

       In 2006, the Changhong manufacturing base in Europe was established.

       In 2014, Changhong launched the high-end smart CHiQ series TV/Refrigerator/Air Conditioner – the CHiQ Brand was born.

       In 2017, Changhong established CHiQ Brand in Sydney, Australia.
